HelloGitHub is powered by a vibrant community of developers, learners, and open-source enthusiasts. Every project featured in the monthly issues was discovered and submitted by a community member — someone who found something worth sharing and took the time to write it up. Since the project began in 2016, more than 458 contributors have had at least one project accepted and published in an official issue.Documentation Index

GitHub username listed in contributors.md
Once your project is accepted and published in a monthly issue, your GitHub username is permanently added to the contributors list on GitHub. You will also be notified directly in your submission issue.
Contributor Recognition
HelloGitHub takes care to acknowledge every contributor who has a project accepted. When your submission is approved and scheduled for inclusion in an upcoming issue, the maintainers will post a notification directly in the GitHub issue you opened for that submission — so you always know when your work has made it in. Your GitHub username is then permanently listed in thecontributors.md file in the main repository. This file is part of the project’s public record and is linked from the README, making your contribution visible to the project’s tens of thousands of visitors. Contributors who reach core status are additionally highlighted in a dedicated table at the top of that file.
