This page covers your first steps inside Gorilla Tag after installing Astra’s Pull Mod V1. You’ll learn how to open the mod menu, what the controls do, and how to pick a starting configuration.

Opening the GUI

Once the mod is loaded, press the P key on your keyboard at any time while in-game to toggle the mod menu open or closed.
The GUI is keyboard-driven. You do not need to interact with any in-game menu to open it — just press P.

The mod menu

When open, the GUI displays a draggable window titled Astras PullMod V1. You can click and drag the title bar to reposition it anywhere on screen. The window is 360 × 460 pixels by default. When a dropdown is expanded, the height grows to 360 × 520 pixels to accommodate the additional options.

Pull sliders

The two main sliders control how the pull mechanic feels:

Drag each slider left or right to adjust the value in real time. Changes take effect immediately without restarting.

Presets

Presets let you jump to a known configuration with a single click. Four presets are available:
  • Speed Boost Setting: (25) — sets Pull Speed to 0.025 and Uphill Power to 0.020; designed for use with the Speed Boost toggle
  • Legit Setting: (70) — sets Pull Speed to 0.070 and Uphill Power to 0.065; tuned to feel closer to natural movement
  • Random Setting — picks random values within each slider’s range on every press
  • Reset — sets both sliders to 0.001 (the slider minimum, effectively no pull)
Click any button in the GUI to apply the preset instantly.
The Legit Setting: (70) preset is the best starting point if you are new to the mod. From there, nudge the sliders up or down to match your playstyle.

Input binding and hand mode

The GUI also lets you select which input binding triggers the pull and toggle between hand modes. Use the dropdown in the menu to choose your preferred binding, and use the hand mode toggle to switch between left and right hand operation.
