Projects are the top-level containers in TaskFlow Pro. Tasks live inside projects, and every team member’s work is organized under one or more projects.

What is a project?

Each project has the following fields:
FieldDescription
NameA short, descriptive title for the project
DescriptionAdditional context about the project’s goal
StatusEither ACTIVO (active) or ARCHIVADO (archived)
OwnerThe user (Admin or PM) who created the project

Project statuses

ACTIVO

The project is live. Tasks can be created and moved through the workflow. Shown with a green badge in the dashboard.

ARCHIVADO

The project is closed. It remains visible for reference but no new tasks should be added. Shown with a grey badge.

Creating a project

Only Admins and Project Managers (PMs) can create projects.
1

Open the Projects page

Navigate to Projects in the sidebar. Click the Nuevo proyecto button in the top-right corner.
2

Fill in the details

Enter a project name and description. Both fields are required.
3

Save

Submit the form. The project is created immediately and appears in your project list with an ACTIVO status.

Viewing projects

Admins see all projects across the entire organization on the Projects page, regardless of who created them. The page header reads: Todos los proyectos.

Editing a project

Both Admins and PMs can edit project details (name and description).
Admins can edit any project, regardless of who owns it.

Archiving a project

Archiving marks a project as closed without deleting it or its tasks.
Admins can archive any project from the Projects page using the Archivar button on a project card.

Deleting a project

Only Admins can delete projects. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Deleting a project also deletes all tasks that belong to it (cascade delete). The Eliminar (delete) button is only visible on project cards when you are logged in as an Admin. Before deleting a project, consider archiving it instead to preserve the task history.

Adding tasks to a project

From any project card on the Projects page, click Nueva tarea to open the task creation modal. The new task is automatically linked to that project. See Tasks for full details on creating and managing tasks.
