The ContextFort dashboard provides a comprehensive interface for monitoring AI agent activity, managing security policies, and reviewing captured sessions. All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome storage.

Dashboard Pages

The dashboard is organized into several key sections:

Visibility

Review agent sessions with screenshot captures and activity timeline

Instances

Track when governance rules were applied and blocked actions

Domains

Manage visited domains and configure access controls

Credentials

Grant time-limited write access to specific domains

Rules

Configure governance policies to control agent behavior

Downloads

Monitor all file downloads across agent sessions

Key Metrics

The home page displays analytics about your session activity:
  • Total Sessions - All recorded agent sessions
  • Active Sessions - Currently running sessions
  • Total Screenshots - All captured events across sessions
  • Sessions with Activity - Sessions that have screenshot captures
The dashboard auto-refreshes data from Chrome storage. For real-time updates on specific pages, use the Refresh button.
Access the dashboard by:
  1. Clicking the ContextFort extension icon in your browser toolbar
  2. Selecting “Open Dashboard” from the popup menu
  3. Or navigate directly to the dashboard URL when the extension is active

Common Workflows

Review a Session

Go to Visibility → Click on a session row to expand → Review screenshots and events

Block a Domain

Go to Domains → Find the domain → Select block mode (visiting/leaving/both)

Grant Domain Access

Go to Credentials → Enter domain → Select duration → Grant access

Enable Governance Rule

Go to Rules → Find the rule → Toggle the switch to enable

Export Session Data

Go to Downloads → Review download history → Filter by category or danger status

Data Storage

All dashboard data is stored locally in Chrome storage and persists across browser sessions. No data is sent to external servers.
The dashboard reads from:
  • sessions - Session metadata and lifecycle
  • screenshots - Captured screenshots and event details
  • governanceRules - Rule configurations
  • governanceInstances - Rule enforcement history
  • urlBlockingRules - Domain blocking configurations
  • downloadRequests - File download tracking
