The standings page gives you a real-time view of every team’s position in the competition. Tables update automatically the moment a referee finalises a match.

Accessing the standings

Navigate to Standings in the top navigation bar. The page opens on the group-stage view by default. Use the phase filter at the top to switch between the group stage and the knockout rounds.

Group-stage table

In the group-stage view, each group is displayed as a separate table. Every row represents one team.

How points are awarded

Points are assigned automatically when a referee finalises a match:
  • Win — 3 points for the winning team, 0 for the losing team
  • Draw — 1 point for each team
  • Loss — 0 points for the losing team

Tiebreaker rules

When two or more teams finish level on points, the following criteria are applied in order.
  1. Head-to-head result
  2. Overall goal difference
  3. Fair Play score (yellow card = 1 pt, red card = 3 pts)
  4. Goals scored
  5. Goals conceded
  6. Draw
  1. Points in the mini-league among the tied teams
  2. Fair Play score (yellow card = 1 pt, red card = 3 pts)
  3. Goal difference in the mini-league
  4. Goals scored in the mini-league
  5. Draw

Row highlighting

Coloured row backgrounds indicate a team’s qualification status:
ColourMeaning
GreenDirect qualification (1st–3rd place)
OrangeBest 4th place — qualified
Blue4th place — not qualified

Best fourth-place comparison

When groups have seven teams, the platform discards each group’s bottom-placed team’s result before computing the best-fourth ranking. This ensures a fair comparison across groups with different numbers of teams. A separate Comparativa Mejores 4º table appears below the group tables whenever this ranking is active.

Knockout phases

When you select a knockout phase (round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, or final), the page switches from tables to a grid of match cards — the same cards shown on the calendar. Results are not shown as league tables in these rounds because ranking by points is not used.
Use the phase filter buttons at the top of the standings page to jump directly to the final or any other knockout round.

Automatic updates

Standings are recalculated the instant a match is finalised by a referee. You do not need to refresh the page manually — the next time you load the standings, the latest results are reflected.
Only finished matches (finalizado) count towards the standings. Ongoing (en_curso) and pending (pendiente) matches have no effect until they are finalised.

Season filtering

The standings page respects the season_id query parameter. Select a season from the picker to view historical standings for any past season.
