EduPets was not built by a company or a research lab — it was designed and shipped entirely by seven high-school students who wanted to prove that meaningful educational software is within reach of any team willing to think carefully and put in the work.Documentation Index

Who we are
The team behind EduPets are seven students from the media técnica de software — the technical high-school software development track. They are Team Six, and beyond their coursework they share a common passion for video games, music, and programming. That combination is no accident: the game-like structure of EduPets reflects exactly the kind of interactive, rewarding experiences the team members themselves grew up enjoying, now channelled into something that can genuinely help younger students. Our mission
“We believe the future of our generation is technology, and our project aims to demonstrate that software can help us in everyday life.”That conviction sits at the heart of every design decision in EduPets. The team did not set out to build a flashy demo — they set out to build something useful, something a real child would want to open again tomorrow.
Why we built EduPets
As a team, we arrived at a shared observation: mathematics can feel complex and tedious for young children. That difficulty is further compounded for students who experience ADHD. Rather than accepting that as inevitable, the team decided to investigate how software could support children with academic difficulties. The result is a platform that reframes arithmetic practice as an act of care. Learning math doesn’t have to feel like a chore — by making every correct answer mean something visible and immediate (a hungry pet gets fed, a tired pet gets to sleep), the team hoped to create real motivation for daily practice. The full project source code is open and available on GitHub at https://github.com/Edupets-Studio/Edu-pets.
