DP Code gives you a clean, fast interface for working with AI coding agents. Instead of juggling multiple terminal windows or CLI tools, you get a unified GUI — available as a desktop app or self-hosted web server — that manages sessions, streams output in real time, and keeps your Git workflow intact.

Quick Start

Install DP Code and start your first AI coding session in minutes.

Install the Desktop App

Download the macOS, Linux, or Windows desktop app from the releases page.

Supported Providers

Connect Codex, Claude Code, Gemini, Grok, Kilo Code, OpenCode, and Cursor.

Git Integration

Manage branches, worktrees, diffs, and stacked PRs without leaving the UI.

What you can do with DP Code

Projects & Threads

Organize your work into projects and persistent conversation threads.

Integrated Terminal

Open split terminal panes alongside your AI sessions.

Split View

Run two AI threads side by side in a split-panel layout.

Keybindings

Customize shortcuts for terminals, threads, and editor actions.

Get started

1

Install a coding agent

DP Code wraps AI coding agents. You need at least one installed — Codex CLI is the default. Install and authorize it before launching DP Code.
2

Download DP Code

Grab the latest desktop app from the Releases page, or follow the installation guide to build from source.
3

Open a project

Launch DP Code, create a new project pointing to your code directory, and open a thread to start chatting with your agent.
4

Configure your providers

Visit Settings → Providers to enable additional agents, set custom binary paths, or configure model preferences. See Provider configuration.
DP Code is early software. Expect rough edges and bugs. Join the Discord for support and updates.
