How Synara Works
Synara runs as a local server on your machine. The desktop app (Electron) wraps the server and web UI together, while a standalone web mode lets you access the workspace from any browser or device on your network. Your repositories, chats, and project history never leave your machine — each AI provider receives only the prompts and file context you send it directly.Install Synara
Download the desktop app from trysynara.com or the GitHub Releases page.
Open a project
Point Synara at any local Git repository. Synara indexes your workspace and makes files available for agent context.
Choose a provider
Select Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Grok, OpenCode, Cursor, Kilo, or Pi. Synara uses the CLI or SDK you already have installed and authorized.
