Mis Compras is an e-commerce marketplace that connects sellers with buyers across various product categories. As a seller, you can publish products, manage your inventory, and track your sales performance all from your seller profile.
You must have a registered account to start selling on Mis Compras. If you don’t have an account yet, create one from the homepage.

Quick Start Guide

Create Your Account

Register for a Mis Compras account with your email and password. Your account serves as both a buyer and seller account.

Access Your Profile

Once logged in, navigate to your profile page (perfil.html) where you can manage your personal information and products.Your profile displays:
  • Personal information (name, email, registration date)
  • Your published products
  • Sales statistics and performance metrics

Publish Your First Product

Click the “Publicar nuevo producto” button to access the product publishing form. You’ll need to provide:
  • Product name
  • Description
  • Price (in USD)
  • Product image
  • Category selection

Manage Your Listings

From your profile, you can view, edit, or delete your published products. Each product card shows views, publication date, and quick action buttons.

Seller Profile Features

Your seller profile (perfil.html) is your central dashboard for managing your business on Mis Compras. It includes:

Personal Information Section

  • Name and Email: Display your account information
  • Registration Date: Shows when you joined the platform
  • User ID: Your unique identifier on the platform
  • Edit Profile: Update your personal information with the edit button

Product Management

  • Product Grid: View all your published products in a clean card layout
  • Product Counter: Track how many products you have listed
  • Quick Actions: View, edit, or delete products directly from your profile

Statistics Dashboard

Track your seller performance with real-time metrics:

Total Views

See how many times your products have been viewed by potential customers

Sales Made

Track the number of successful sales transactions

Seller Rating

Monitor your seller rating (out of 5 stars) based on customer feedback

Authentication & Security

All seller actions require authentication. The platform checks for a valid user session stored in localStorage.id_usuario. If you’re not logged in, you’ll be redirected to the homepage.
The platform implements session-based authentication:
  • User ID is stored in browser’s localStorage
  • Each API request includes the user ID for verification
  • You can log out using the “Cerrar sesión” button
