Claude Code has native plugin support. Install directly from the marketplace:

Add from marketplace

/plugin marketplace add Lum1104/Understand-Anything

Install the plugin

/plugin install understand-anything

Verify installation

Run the analysis command in any project:

/understand

The multi-agent pipeline starts immediately.

This is the native, fully supported platform. All six commands (/understand, /understand-dashboard, /understand-chat, /understand-diff, /understand-explain, /understand-onboard) are available out of the box.

OpenCode uses a opencode.json plugin config file. The plugin auto-installs and registers all skills on startup.

Add to opencode.json

Add the plugin entry to your opencode.json (global or project-level):

Restart OpenCode

Restart OpenCode. The plugin is automatically fetched from GitHub and all skills are registered.

Verify installation

Ask OpenCode to list available skills. You should see understand, understand-chat, understand-dashboard, and more.Then load the skill to analyze your codebase:

use skill tool to load understand-anything/understand

Or simply ask: "Analyze this codebase and build a knowledge graph"

Pinning a specific version:

Updating: Restart OpenCode — the plugin re-installs from git automatically.Uninstalling: Remove the plugin line from opencode.json and restart.

When OpenCode skills reference Claude Code-specific tools, the mapping is: TodoWrite → todowrite, Task with subagents → @mention syntax, Skill tool → OpenCode’s native skill tool.

Codex uses an AI-driven install process. No config file edits are required.

Trigger the install

Tell Codex:

Fetch and follow instructions from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Lum1104/Understand-Anything/refs/heads/main/.codex/INSTALL.md

Codex fetches the install instructions and sets up the plugin automatically.

Analyze your codebase

Once installed, run:

/understand

Cursor auto-discovers the plugin via the .cursor-plugin/plugin.json manifest when the repository is cloned locally.

Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/Lum1104/Understand-Anything.git

Open in Cursor

Open the cloned repository in Cursor. The plugin is auto-discovered from .cursor-plugin/plugin.json — no manual installation is needed.

Run in your project

Use Cursor’s command interface to run:

/understand

Cursor’s auto-discovery means you do not need to run any install commands. Opening the repo in Cursor is sufficient.

OpenClaw uses an AI-driven install process, similar to Codex.

Trigger the install

Tell OpenClaw:

Fetch and follow instructions from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Lum1104/Understand-Anything/refs/heads/main/.openclaw/INSTALL.md

OpenClaw fetches the install instructions and sets up the plugin.

Analyze your codebase

Once installed, run:

/understand

Antigravity uses an AI-driven install process.

Tell Antigravity:

Antigravity fetches the install instructions and configures the plugin.

Analyze your codebase

Once installed, run:

/understand

Troubleshooting

Skills not found after install (OpenCode)

Verify the plugin line exists in your opencode.json
Check that ~/.cache/opencode/node_modules/understand-anything was created after restart
Use the skill tool to list discovered skills

Analysis stops at >200 files

For very large projects, the pipeline prompts for confirmation before proceeding. You can also scope the analysis to a subdirectory:

/understand src/

Force a full rebuild

If the graph appears stale or incomplete, force a full rebuild:

/understand --full
