This guide walks you through the core workflow: launching Rift CE for the first time, adding an account with a .ROBLOSECURITY cookie, verifying it with a health check, and launching Roblox. The whole process takes under five minutes.
Never share your .ROBLOSECURITY cookie with anyone. It grants full access to your Roblox account — anyone who has it can log in as you without a password.
1

Launch Rift CE

Run RiftCE.exe. The app opens directly to the Accounts page. No login or setup wizard is required.
2

Add your first account

You’ll need your .ROBLOSECURITY cookie from your browser.Get the cookie from your browser:
  1. Log in to roblox.com in your browser.
  2. Open DevTools (F12), go to the Application tab (Chrome) or Storage tab (Firefox).
  3. Under Cookies → https://www.roblox.com, find the cookie named .ROBLOSECURITY.
  4. Copy the full value.
Add the account in Rift CE:
  1. On the Accounts page, click Add Cookie.
  2. Paste the cookie value into the dialog and click Add.
The cookie value often starts with _|WARNING:-DO-NOT-SHARE-THIS.... Rift CE strips that prefix automatically, so you can paste the full value as-is.
Rift CE validates the cookie immediately on import. If it’s valid, the account appears in your vault with the Roblox username resolved automatically.
3

Run a health check

Navigate to the Health Check page and click Check All. Rift CE will:
  • Validate each cookie against the Roblox API
  • Fetch the current Robux balance for valid accounts
  • Record the cookie age and last-checked timestamp
Accounts with invalid or expired cookies are flagged in the results. You can remove all invalid accounts at once with Remove Invalid.
4

Launch Roblox

Return to the Accounts page. Click the Launch button (▶) next to any account to open Roblox logged in as that account. To launch into a specific game, enter a Place ID in the field above the account list before clicking Launch.

Next steps

Accounts

Organise accounts with aliases, groups, and tags.

Launching

Launch into specific games, follow users, and set up auto-relaunch.

Import & export

Bulk-import cookies or username/password pairs, and export your vault.

Health check

Validate cookies and review Robux balances across all accounts.
Use aliases to give accounts a recognisable name that’s easier to scan than a Roblox username. Set one by double-clicking an account row to open its details dialog.
