The Observatorio Territorial Godoy Cruz — Nodos map organises all spatial data into 13 thematic overlay groups rendered via L.control.groupedLayers(). Each group can be independently expanded or collapsed in the layer panel on the right side of the map. Layers from different groups are completely independent: you can activate any combination simultaneously to cross-reference urban planning data across themes. All layers are served as client-side GeoJSON, styled in Leaflet and projected over three selectable base maps (ESRI Satellite, Argenmap, OpenTopoMap).

Urban Structure

Administrative districts, consolidated neighbourhoods, urban limits, and zoning regulations under Ordenanzas Nº 7124/2021, Nº 7074/2020, and Nº 4947/03.

Nodes & Planning

Grade 1 and Grade 2 district node polygons, plus planning proposals for nodes to strengthen and activity poles.

Walkability

Street-level walkability index (Índice Final de Caminabilidad) with a 1–4 colour-coded score, plus proposed territorial connection corridors.

Services & Commerce

Point-of-interest layers covering public administration, cycling infrastructure, commerce, gastronomía, culture, worship, education, health, and recreation.

Environment & Recreation

Hydrological networks, flood risk zones, geological faults, renewable energy infrastructure, land-use classification, and mountain tourism circuits.

Every layer in the grouped control is toggled independently — there is no exclusive-select behaviour. You can turn on layers from multiple groups at the same time to visually cross-reference, for example, the walkability index alongside the cycling network and node polygons. The groupCheckboxes option is set to false, so enabling a group header does not batch-toggle all its children.
