Each space card in ULagos 360° shows its current status at a glance through a colour-coded left border and a pulsing dot. When you are logged in, action buttons appear at the bottom of each card, letting you move spaces through their status lifecycle with a single tap. Updates broadcast instantly to every tutor viewing the dashboard, so there is no risk of two people heading to the same space at the same time.

Standard spaces — Bienvenida, Coffee Break, Campus Tour

These categories use a reserve-then-occupy flow, designed to prevent two tutors from racing to claim the same space. From disponible — two buttons appear for any logged-in tutor:
  • Ir hacia allá — marks the space en_camino and records your name as the reserving tutor. Other tutors can see you are on your way.
  • Ocupar ahora — skips the in-transit step and marks the space ocupado immediately.
From en_camino — buttons are shown only to the tutor who reserved the space:
  • He llegado — confirms arrival and moves the space to ocupado.
  • Cancelar — releases your reservation and returns the space to disponible.
From ocupado — a single button is shown only to the tutor who occupies the space:
  • Liberar espacio — frees the space and returns it to disponible.
When a space is en_camino or ocupado, tutors who did not set that status see no action buttons at all. This prevents accidental overwrites and keeps accountability clear.

Workshop and tour spaces — Talleres, Tours en Curso

These categories follow a simpler linear flow because each space maps to a single scheduled session rather than an ad-hoc room claim. From disponible:
  • Iniciar — starts the session and moves the space to en_curso.
From en_curso:
  • Terminar — ends the session and moves the space to terminado.
From terminado:
  • Resetear — returns the space to disponible, ready for the next group or a re-run.

Metadata shown on each card

Every space card surfaces contextual information beneath the space name:

Spaces in maintenance

Cards in mantenimiento status display the reason for the downtime in a grey info box. All action buttons are suppressed for maintenance spaces — no status change is possible until an administrator clears the flag.
