Reporting Issues

Bug Reports

If you’ve found a bug in NativeLink, please report it on GitHub Issues:
  1. Go to the NativeLink Issues page
  2. Search existing issues to avoid duplicates
  3. If your issue is new, click “New Issue”
  4. Provide a clear title and detailed description
  5. Include steps to reproduce the issue
  6. Add relevant logs, error messages, and configuration files
  7. Specify your environment (OS, NativeLink version, etc.)

Feature Requests

We welcome feature requests and suggestions for improving NativeLink:
  1. Check existing issues and discussions to see if it’s already been proposed
  2. Open a new issue with the “Feature Request” label
  3. Describe the feature and its use case
  4. Explain how it would benefit the community

Security Issues

For security vulnerabilities, please do not open a public issue. Instead:
  • Email security concerns to founders@tracemachina.com
  • Include detailed information about the vulnerability
  • Allow time for the team to address the issue before public disclosure

Claiming Issues

If you want to work on an existing issue:
  1. Comment on the issue to claim it
  2. Wait for confirmation from a maintainer
  3. Start working on your solution
  4. Submit a pull request when ready
This process prevents duplicate work and ensures coordination among contributors.
