The Organize & Manage category covers operations that change the structure of a PDF — its page order, count, layout, or attached files — without altering the content on any individual page.

Combine and split

Merge PDF Combine multiple PDF files into a single document. Two modes:
  • File Mode — drag files into the desired order, with optional per-file page range filters (e.g., 1-3, 5)
  • Page Mode — drag individual page thumbnails from all uploaded files to build an exact sequence
Bookmarks are preserved in the merged output. Alternate & Mix Pages Merge two or more PDFs by interleaving their pages — page 1 from file A, page 1 from file B, page 2 from file A, and so on. Useful for reassembling double-sided scans. Bookmarks are preserved. Split PDF Extract a specific range of pages from a PDF and save them as a new file. Extract Pages Save a custom selection of pages as one or more new PDF files. Delete Pages Remove specific pages from a document by selecting them from a thumbnail grid. Add Blank Page Insert an empty page at any position in your PDF. Reverse Pages Flip the page order of the entire document.

Page layout

Organize & Duplicate Drag-and-drop page reordering with duplicate support. Add copies of existing pages at any position. Rotate PDF Rotate all pages or a selection of pages in 90-degree increments. Rotate by Custom Degrees Rotate pages by any custom angle (e.g., 15°, 45°, 270°). Useful for correcting slightly off-angle scans when Deskew is not sufficient. N-Up PDF Arrange multiple pages onto a single sheet — 2-up, 4-up, 6-up, or 9-up. Useful for printing handouts. PDF Booklet Rearrange pages for double-sided booklet printing. The output can be folded and stapled to create a physical booklet. Posterize PDF Split a large page (e.g., A1 or A0) into multiple smaller pages (e.g., A4) for printing on standard printers. Divide Pages Divide each page horizontally or vertically. Useful when a double-page spread has been scanned as a single page. Combine to Single Page Stitch all pages of a PDF into one continuous vertical page — useful for creating a single-scroll document.

All-in-one tools

PDF Multi Tool A unified interface that combines merge, split, organize, delete, rotate, add blank pages, extract, and duplicate operations in one view. The recommended starting point when you need to do several operations in sequence on the same PDF. PDF Workflow Builder A visual node-based automation tool. Connect input, processing, and output nodes on a canvas to create reusable pipelines. Run everything with one click — files stay in the browser the entire time. Node categories on the canvas:
CategoryColorExample nodes

Edit & AnnotateIndigoWatermark, Page Numbers, Header & Footer, Adjust Colors

Workflows can be saved to browser local storage, exported as .json, and imported on another machine.
The Encrypt node must always be the last processing step before the Download node. Placing it earlier will trigger a validation warning because downstream nodes cannot operate on encrypted files.
OCR PDF Make a scanned PDF searchable and copyable by adding an invisible text layer using Tesseract OCR. This appears in Organize & Manage because it transforms the document’s machine-readability without changing its visual content. See Convert from PDF for full OCR options.

Attachments

Add Attachments Embed one or more files of any type into your PDF as attachments. The files are stored inside the PDF container and can be extracted by any PDF viewer that supports embedded files. Extract Attachments Extract all embedded file attachments from one or more PDFs. Downloads as a ZIP archive. Edit Attachments View the list of files embedded in a PDF and selectively remove individual attachments.

Layers (OCG)

PDF OCG View, toggle visibility, add, and delete Optional Content Groups (OCG) — the PDF standard for layers. Useful for PDFs exported from InDesign, AutoCAD, or other layer-aware applications where you want to control which layers appear.

Comparison and metadata

Compare PDFs Compare two PDFs side by side with synchronized scrolling and highlighted differences. Useful for reviewing document revisions. View Metadata Inspect all standard PDF metadata fields: title, author, subject, keywords, creator, producer, creation date, and modification date. Edit Metadata Change any standard PDF metadata field without modifying the document content. PDFs to ZIP Package multiple PDF files into a single ZIP archive for easy download and distribution.
