Navigate to the registration page to create your TechStore account

Check your inbox for a verification email and click the activation link

Creating an Account

Registration Process

Access Registration Page

Click “Crear cuenta nueva” on the login page or navigate directly to the registration page.

Fill In Your Information

Provide the following details:
  • Full Name: Your complete name
  • Email: A valid email address (used for login)
  • Password: Minimum 6 characters

Submit Registration

Click “Crear Cuenta” to submit your registration.
After registration, you’ll receive a confirmation message asking you to check your email.

Email Verification

Upon registration, TechStore sends a verification email to activate your account.

Check Your Inbox

Look for an email from TechStore (check spam/junk folder if not in inbox).

Click Activation Link

Open the email and click the “Verify Account” link.

Account Activated

You’ll see a success page confirming your account is active.

Login

Return to TechStore and log in with your credentials.
If you don’t receive the verification email within a few minutes, check your spam folder or contact support.

Logging In

Once your account is verified, you can access TechStore:
  1. Navigate to the Login page
  2. Enter your email and password
  3. Click “Iniciar Sesión”
If you haven’t verified your email, you’ll see a message: “Tu cuenta no está activa. Revisa tu correo.”

Password Recovery

If you forget your password:

Access Password Recovery

On the login page, click the “¿Olvidaste tu clave?” link.

Enter Your Email

Provide the email address associated with your account.

Check Your Email

You’ll receive a password reset link via email.

Set New Password

Click the link in the email and enter your new password (minimum 6 characters).

Login

Return to the login page and sign in with your new password.

  • Featured Products Carousel: Highlighted products rotating automatically
  • Product Grid: All available products displayed as cards

Using Categories

Filter products by category using the category buttons:
  1. Locate the category filter bar above the product grid
  2. Click on a category (e.g., “Laptops”, “Smartphones”, “Accessories”)
  3. View products filtered to that category
  4. Click “Todas” to show all products again

Search Functionality

Quickly find specific products:
  1. Locate the search bar in the top section
  2. Type your search term (product name or keyword)
  3. Results filter automatically as you type
  4. Clear the search box to show all products
The search is real-time - you’ll see results update as you type!

Product Details

Click on any product card to view detailed information:

Product Detail Modal

The product detail view includes:
  • Image Gallery: Browse multiple product images using carousel controls
  • Product Name: Full product title
  • Category: Product classification
  • Price: Current price in USD
  • Stock Availability: How many units are available
  • Quantity Selector: Choose how many units to add
  • Description: Detailed product information
  • Similar Products: Recommendations based on category

Open Product Details

Click on any product card in the catalog.

Browse Images

Use the left/right arrows to view all product photos.

Select Quantity

Use the + and - buttons to choose quantity (respects available stock).

Add to Cart

Click “Agregar al carrito” to add the item.

Shopping Cart

The shopping cart is accessible from the navbar at all times.

Cart Overview

  • Cart Icon: Shows the number of items currently in your cart
  • Cart Sidebar: Slides in from the right when clicked

Managing Your Cart

You can add products to your cart in two ways:
  1. Quick Add: Click “Agregar al carrito” directly from the product card
  2. Detailed Add: Open product details, select quantity, then add
Each time you add an item, you’ll see a success notification.
Click the cart icon in the navigation bar to open the cart sidebar.You’ll see:
  • List of all items in your cart
  • Individual item prices
  • Quantities for each item
  • Subtotal: Running total of all items
Within the cart sidebar, you can:
  • Increase quantity: Click the + button
  • Decrease quantity: Click the - button
  • Remove item: Reduce quantity to 0 or use the remove button
To remove all items at once:
  1. Open the cart sidebar
  2. Click “Vaciar Carrito” at the bottom
  3. Confirm the action
Your cart is stored locally in your browser. Items remain in your cart even if you close the browser, but they won’t sync across different devices.

Placing an Order

Checkout Process

Review Your Cart

Open the cart sidebar and verify all items and quantities are correct.

Login Required

Ensure you’re logged in. If not, you’ll be prompted to log in or create an account.

Finalize Purchase

Click “Finalizar Compra” in the cart sidebar.

Order Confirmation

Upon successful order placement:
  • You’ll receive a confirmation message
  • Your cart will be cleared
  • The order appears in your order history
Make sure you have sufficient stock for all items. The system validates stock availability before processing your order.

Order Statuses

PENDIENTE

Order received and awaiting processing

PROCESANDO

Order is being prepared for shipment

ENVIADO

Order has been dispatched for delivery

ENTREGADO

Order successfully delivered

Order History

View all your past orders and their status.

Accessing Order History

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Navigate to “Mis Pedidos” from the navigation menu
  3. View your complete order history

Order History Page

The order history displays:
  • Order ID: Unique identifier for each order
  • Date: When the order was placed
  • Summary: Brief description of items
  • Total: Order amount
  • Status: Current order status (color-coded badge)
  • Actions: View details button

Viewing Order Details

Find Your Order

Locate the order in your history list.

View Details

Click the “Ver Detalle” button for that order.

Review Information

A modal opens showing:
  • Complete list of products
  • Quantities ordered
  • Individual and total prices
If you have no orders yet, you’ll see a message: “Aún no has realizado ninguna compra” with a link to return to the store.

Managing Your Profile

Customize your account information and preferences.

Accessing Profile Settings

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click on your username in the navigation bar
  3. Select “Mi Perfil” or navigate to the profile page

Profile Information

You can update the following:
  • Name: Your first name
  • Apellido (Last Name): Your surname
  • Email: Your email address (read-only, cannot be changed)
  • Phone: Contact telephone number
  • Shipping Address: Default delivery address
Click “Actualizar Perfil” to save changes.

Change Password

To update your password:
  1. Enter your Current Password
  2. Enter your New Password (minimum 6 characters)
  3. Click “Actualizar Contraseña”
Both fields are required to change your password successfully.

Delete Your Account

This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
To permanently delete your account:
  1. Scroll to the “Zona de Peligro” (Danger Zone) section
  2. Click “Eliminar mi cuenta permanentemente”
  3. Confirm the deletion
What happens when you delete your account:
  • All your personal data is removed
  • Order history is permanently deleted
  • You cannot recover your account or data
Make sure you’ve downloaded any important order information before deleting your account.

Tips for the Best Experience

Keep Profile Updated

Ensure your shipping address and contact information are current for smooth deliveries.

Check Stock Availability

Popular items may have limited stock. Complete your purchase promptly when adding items to cart.

Save Your Searches

Use categories and search frequently to quickly find your favorite products.

Monitor Order Status

Regularly check your order history to track delivery progress.

Troubleshooting

Solution:
  1. Check your spam/junk folder
  2. Verify you entered the correct email during registration
  3. Try registering again if the verification link expired
  4. Contact support if issues persist

  • Ensure you clicked the verification link in your email
  • Verify you’re using the correct email and password
  • Use the password recovery option if you forgot your password

  • Check if the product has available stock
  • Ensure JavaScript is enabled in your browser
  • Try refreshing the page

  • Verify all required fields are filled
  • Ensure your password meets minimum requirements (6 characters)
