Video Studio brings the same dual-mode intelligence as Image Studio to video generation. With no start frame provided, the studio operates in text-to-video mode, giving you access to 40+ models capable of generating video purely from a text prompt. Upload a start-frame image and the studio seamlessly switches to its 60+ image-to-video models, which animate that still image into motion. Controls for aspect ratio, duration, and quality automatically adapt to the constraints of each selected model.

Smart Controls

Video Studio surfaces a set of controls that adapt to the capabilities and constraints of whichever model is selected:
  • Aspect Ratio — choose from the ratios supported by the active model (e.g. 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, 1:1)
  • Duration — select clip length where the model offers options (e.g. 5s / 10s / 15s for Seedance 2.0, or 6s / 10s for Grok Imagine)
  • Quality — toggle between basic and high for models that expose quality tiers
  • Mode — some models (e.g. Grok Imagine) offer generation modes such as fun, normal, or spicy that affect motion style and content
All control pickers are dynamically rendered — if a model does not support a given parameter, that picker is hidden rather than shown as a disabled option.

Generation History

All generated videos are automatically saved to the generation history (persisted in localStorage). You can browse, replay, and download every past output directly from the history panel without leaving the studio.
Prompt tips for better video results:
  • Be specific about motion — describe what is moving and how (e.g. “a crane slowly panning left across a snow-capped mountain range”)
  • Match your aspect ratio to the intended platform: 16:9 for landscape/YouTube, 9:16 for Shorts/TikTok, 1:1 for social feeds
  • For image-to-video, the start frame is the strongest signal — keep prompts focused on the motion you want to add rather than redefining the scene
  • Seedance 2.0 Extend is useful for lengthening an existing clip while maintaining visual continuity — pass an optional continuation prompt to steer where the motion goes next
