Usage

container volume inspect [--debug] <names> ...

Examples

# Inspect a single volume
container volume inspect my-data

# Inspect multiple volumes
container volume inspect vol1 vol2 vol3

Output

The command returns JSON with detailed volume information including:
  • Volume name
  • Creation time
  • Mount point
  • Labels
  • Driver options
  • Size (if specified)
Pipe the output to jq for formatted JSON viewing:
container volume inspect my-data | jq
