Welcome, Mortals is a theatrical static portfolio theme built for GitHub Pages. It wraps a fully practical developer or creative portfolio in a haunted-house aesthetic: dark purple backdrops, pumpkin-orange headings, parchment content surfaces, and playful interactive details including a themed cursor and a surprise spider that drops in when visitors least expect it. Grab the source from GitHub and extract the files so
index.html sits at the root of your repository.Replace placeholder content
Update
index.html with your name and headline, then work through each .html file to add your real projects, skills, and contact details.Enable GitHub Pages
In your repository’s Settings → Pages, set the source to
main / /(root) and save.
