Download and install
Grab the latest
Tamed.apk from the GitHub Releases page and install it on any Android 8.0+ device. See Installation for sideloading instructions.Add your music library
Open Tamed, grant storage permissions, and let it scan your local library. It automatically parses ID3, Vorbis, and MP4 tags and syncs with YouTube Music if you choose to sign in.
Customize your experience
Pick a player design, set up your preferred lyrics providers, configure the equalizer, and connect Discord or Last.fm. Full configuration options are in Settings & Configuration.
Tamed requires Android 8.0 (API Level 26) or higher. The pre-built release binary targets arm64-v8a architecture. A universal APK covering all ABIs can be compiled from source.
