Alongside its individual tufting formats, Borrissol offers three distinct group and recurring-access workshop formats. Pelussetes is a one-off express tufting session for social celebrations (birthdays, hen parties, get-togethers). Team Building is the corporate version of the same experience, oriented around company culture and team cohesion. Borla is a monthly subscription workshop for anyone who wants to practise needle felting, punch needle, or loom weaving at their own pace, week after week. All three formats use WhatsApp as the sole booking channel, with pre-filled messages in all four supported languages.

Pelussetes

Express group tufting for birthdays, hen parties and social events. Each person creates a 50×50 cm tapestry in 2 hours. From 68€/person · min. 5 people · materials included.

Team Building

Corporate group tufting activity. Teams make a tufted wrist rest together in 2 hours. 68€/person · min. 5 people · materials + finishing included.

Borla

Monthly drop-in workshop. Practise needle felting, punch needle or loom weaving at your own pace. 65€/month · 2h/week · materials separate.

Pelussetes

Route: /pelussetes · /es/pelussetes · /en/pelussetes · /fr/pelussetes Pelussetes is the most festive side of Borrissol’s tufting offer — the pel.lead copy (EN) describes it as “an express tufting workshop made for having fun with friends.” It is a one-off, punctual session where a group books the entire workshop space and each participant works on their own 50×50 cm tufted tapestry with a pre-agreed simple design.

Details

Price68€ per person
Group sizeFrom 5 people (contact for larger groups)
Duration2 hours
ProjectTufted tapestry on a 50×50 cm frame, simple design chosen in advance
IncludesAll materials + finishing by the instructor
Piece pickupCollected a few agreed days later (glue must dry; finishing done after the session)
LocationTaller Borrissol, Mataró (Barcelona)
Participants do not take their finished piece home on the day. Because the backing glue needs time to dry, the instructor completes the finishing after the workshop and participants return to collect their piece a few days later.

Occasions

The pel.occasions.title section identifies three occasion types:

Birthdays

An original alternative to the usual plan — a creative activity with a keepsake to take home.

Special celebrations

Reunions, milestones, hen parties or any special day with a different activity and a lasting memento.

Events & get-togethers

Friend reunions, informal celebrations or any excuse to get together and make something with your hands.

How it works (three steps)

  1. Book for your group — Tell Borrissol how many people (min. 5) and choose a simple design together. The workshop is reserved exclusively for your group.
  2. Create your tapestry — The instructor teaches the tufting technique and each person builds their 50×50 cm piece during the 2-hour session.
  3. Pick up the finished piece — The instructor completes the finishing after the glue dries; participants collect their piece a few agreed days later.

Team Building

Route: /team-building · /es/team-building · /en/team-building · /fr/team-building The Team Building format is the corporate adaptation of the Pelussetes experience. Instead of a tapestry, each participant creates a tufted wrist rest — a small, practical desktop object they take back to the office as a useful daily reminder of the session. The tb.lead copy (EN) positions it as “a different kind of team experience: your group creates a tufting piece with their own hands at our Mataró workshop, 30 minutes from Barcelona. No screens, no prior experience — just shared creativity.”

Why it works for teams

The tb.benefits.title section articulates three reasons the format is effective in a corporate context:
BenefitDescription
Accessible to everyoneNo prior experience or artistic skill required; the instructor guides every step so the whole team moves at the same pace.
Tangible resultEach person takes home their own wrist rest — a useful, lasting reminder of the day present on the office desk.
Real disconnectionHands-on work with a soft texture is relaxing and absorbing; a genuine break from digital work that fosters easy conversation.

How the day works

  1. Tailored to your team — Borrissol reserves the workshop exclusively; you agree on group size and choose a simple design together.
  2. Create your piece — 2 hours of guided tufting; each person works step-by-step and at their own pace.
  3. Take home the memory — Borrissol handles the finishing; every team member leaves with a completed piece made with their own hands.

Borla

Route: /borla · /es/borla · /en/borla · /fr/borla Borla is Borrissol’s monthly subscription workshop — a recurring open-studio format described as “a space to come at your own pace and devote yourself to the textile techniques that take time and patience.” Unlike tufting (which has its own intensive individual and group formats), Borla focuses on the three slower techniques: needle felting, punch needle, and loom weaving. Participants attend once a week for 2 hours, choosing their own day and time.

Price65€/month
FormatMonthly · 2 hours per week · day and time of your choice
TechniquesNeedle felting, punch needle, loom weaving
MaterialsNot included — purchased at the workshop by technique and quantity
LocationTaller Borrissol, Mataró (Barcelona)
Materials are intentionally not included in the Borla fee so participants can focus on one technique or experiment with several across the month and only pay for what they actually use.

Techniques available in Borla

TechniqueDescription
Needle feltingTransform loose wool fibre into figures and unique pieces using just a barbed needle. Meditative and intuitive — “one of the techniques that best fits the calm of Borla.”
Punch needleBuild up textures and designs with yarn on fabric — tote bags, keychains, wall pieces. Addictive and rewarding to do little by little.
Loom weavingHand-weave with colours and textures on the artisan loom. Work with trapillo (t-shirt yarn); participants may bring their own materials.
Tufting is explicitly not available in Borla. The site FAQ (borla.faq.a3) explains: “Tufting is not part of Borla, because it is a more intensive technique with its own workshop format. At Borla we focus on the techniques you enjoy slowly.”
