Navigating to statistics
Click the Statistics tab at the top of the application window. The tab displays immediately — no loading step is required.Summary cards
Five cards across the top of the Statistics tab show live counts:| Card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Total Cnt. | All contacts regardless of category or favorite status |
| Favorites | Contacts with the Favorite checkbox checked |
| Family | Contacts in the Family category |
| Friends | Contacts in the Friends category |
| Work | Contacts in the Work category |
Contacts that do not belong to Family, Friends, or Work (for example, legacy data with an unrecognized category) are counted in “Total Cnt.” but are not reflected in the three category cards.
Bar chart: contacts by category
The left chart in the lower half of the Statistics tab is a bar chart showing the count of contacts in each of the four buckets:- Family
- Friends
- Work
- Other (contacts without a recognized category)
Pie chart: contact distribution
The right chart shows a pie chart with proportional slices for Family, Friends, and Work. The “Other” bucket is excluded from the pie chart.When statistics update
Statistics recalculate every time the contact list changes:- After adding a new contact
- After updating an existing contact
- After deleting a contact
- After toggling a contact’s favorite status
- When the app first loads all contacts from disk
