You can install FreshJuice HubSpot DevTools from the official browser extension stores or manually for development purposes.

Install from store

The easiest way to install the extension is from your browser’s official extension store.

Choose your browser

Select the appropriate store for your browser:

Install the extension

Click the “Add to Chrome” or “Add to Firefox” button in the store listing.

Confirm installation

Your browser will prompt you to confirm the installation. Review the permissions and click “Add Extension.”

Pin the extension

For easy access, pin the extension to your toolbar:
  • Click the extensions icon (puzzle piece) in your browser toolbar
  • Find “FreshJuice HubSpot DevTools” in the list
  • Click the pin icon to keep it visible
The extension is available for all Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, etc.) and Firefox.

Manual installation

Developers can manually install the extension for testing or contributing to the project.

Download the release

Download the latest release from the GitHub releases page.Look for the file named hubspot-devtools-chrome-*.zip.

Unzip the package

Extract the contents of the ZIP file to a folder on your computer.

Open extensions page

Navigate to chrome://extensions/ in your browser’s address bar.

Enable developer mode

Toggle the “Developer mode” switch in the top right corner of the extensions page.

Load the extension

Click “Load unpacked” and select the folder where you extracted the extension files.

Firefox

Download the release

Download the latest release from the GitHub releases page.Look for the file named hubspot-devtools-firefox-*.zip.

Open add-ons page

Navigate to about:addons in Firefox’s address bar.

Install from file

Click the gear icon and select “Install Add-on From File…”

Select the ZIP file

Choose the hubspot-devtools-firefox-*.zip file you downloaded (do not unzip it).
Manually installed extensions in Firefox are temporary and will be removed when you close the browser, unless you have a developer edition or unbranded build.

Verifying installation

After installation, you should see the FreshJuice HubSpot DevTools icon in your browser toolbar. The icon looks like a wrench or developer tool symbol. Click the icon to open the popup interface and verify that all controls are visible:
  • Debug Mode toggle
  • Cache Buster toggle
  • BackOffice Dev Mode toggle
  • Settings link
  • HubL documentation links
