upc-grupo5-tb1.R produces eight ggplot2 charts that together answer key questions about hotel booking patterns, guest composition, parking demand, seasonal trends, and cancellation rates. The charts split naturally into three thematic groups: booking volumes and guest characteristics, seasonal and stay-length patterns, and cancellation behavior relative to hotel type and lead time.
Bookings, guests, and parking
Charts 1, 5, and 6 — booking counts by hotel type, proportion of bookings with children or babies, and parking space demand.
Seasonal trends and stay patterns
Charts 2, 3, and 4 — monthly trend lines by year, distribution of bookings across months, and the relationship between weekend and weeknight stays.
Cancellations and lead time
Charts 7 and 8 — proportional cancellation rates by hotel type and a boxplot comparing lead time between canceled and kept reservations.
All eight charts at a glance
