What’s included

These dotfiles configure a complete Wayland desktop environment with six tightly integrated components:

Hyprland

Wayland compositor with tiling, animations, and per-app window rules.

Waybar

Status bar with workspace icons, CPU/RAM/temp, network, audio, and system tray.

Kitty

GPU-accelerated terminal with Tokyo Night theme and JetBrainsMono Nerd Font.

Dunst

Lightweight notification daemon with a minimal, dark style.

Wofi

Application launcher with custom CSS for a clean, focused UI.

Wlogout

Power menu with Dracula-themed layout for shutdown, reboot, and lock.

Quick start

Install required packages

Run the DNF install command to get Hyprland and all companion tools on Fedora 43.

Clone the repository

Clone the dotfiles repo to your home directory.

Back up and deploy

Use the provided commands to back up your existing configs and copy the new ones into ~/.config.

Restart Hyprland

Log out and back in. Your new desktop environment is ready.
