The /colonel command posts a random Codec-style quote attributed to “The Colonel” — a nod to the iconic radio calls from the Metal Gear Solid series. Each quote is drawn from the bot’s internal quote list and rendered as a Discord embed.

Usage

/colonel
No options and no permissions required. Any member can run this command at any time.

What it does

When invoked, the bot:
  1. Selects a quote at random from the internal quote pool using randomColonelQuote.
  2. Substitutes your configured ENTITY_NAME into the quote text wherever the placeholder appears.
  3. Replies with an embed titled “Colonel” containing the substituted quote text.
The embed is visible to everyone in the channel.
The /colonel quotes reference Metal Gear lore and the entity name you configured with ENTITY_NAME — great for flavor in themed servers.
