Overview

Taskflow provides two ways to manage finished tasks: marking them as complete (to keep a record) or deleting them permanently (to remove them from your list).

Marking Tasks as Complete

1

Click the Task Name

Find the task you want to mark as complete and click directly on the task name text (not the category, priority badge, or delete button).
2

See the Visual Change

The task will immediately show that it’s completed with these visual indicators:
  • The task name gets a strikethrough line through it
  • The entire task card becomes semi-transparent (reduced opacity)
This makes it easy to distinguish completed tasks from active ones at a glance.
3

Toggle Back if Needed

To mark a completed task as incomplete again, simply click the task name once more. The strikethrough and transparency will be removed, returning the task to its active state.
Marking tasks as complete (instead of deleting them) lets you see what you’ve accomplished while keeping your task history. This is great for reviewing productivity at the end of the day or week.

Understanding Completion Status

Why Mark Tasks Complete?

  • Track progress: See what you’ve achieved without losing the record
  • Stay motivated: Visual progress helps maintain momentum
  • Reversible: Unlike deletion, you can undo completion by clicking again
  • Preserved in storage: Completed tasks are saved and persist when you refresh the page

Completed Task Behavior

Completed tasks remain in their priority sections and can still be found using search and filters. They just have a different visual style to indicate they’re done.
  • Completed tasks stay in their original priority section
  • They still appear when filtering by priority
  • They’re still searchable by task name
  • The task counter includes both active and completed tasks

Deleting Tasks

1

Locate the Delete Button

Each task has a button on the right side of the task card. This is the delete button.
2

Click to Delete

Click the button to permanently remove the task from your list.
3

Task is Removed

The task disappears immediately from the interface and is removed from storage. The task counter updates to reflect the new count.
Deletion is permanent! Once you delete a task, it cannot be recovered. There is no “undo” function. If you’re unsure, mark the task as complete instead of deleting it.

When to Delete vs. Complete

Delete a Task When:

  • You added it by mistake
  • It’s no longer relevant or necessary
  • You want to clean up your task list
  • You’ve completed it and don’t need to keep a record
  • The task is a duplicate

Mark as Complete When:

  • You want to track your productivity
  • You might need to reference what you did
  • You want to keep a history of accomplishments
  • You’re using tasks as a daily/weekly checklist
  • You might need to reactivate the task later
Consider your workflow: Some people prefer a clean slate and delete completed tasks regularly. Others like seeing their progress and keep completed tasks visible. Choose what works best for you!

Task Management Tips

Daily Cleanup Routine

  1. At the end of the day, review completed tasks
  2. Delete tasks you no longer need to see
  3. Keep tasks that represent important accomplishments
  4. Unmark any tasks you didn’t actually finish

Weekly Review

  1. Filter by “Todas” to see all tasks
  2. Review completed tasks from the week
  3. Delete completed tasks to start fresh
  4. Adjust priorities for remaining tasks

Quick Tips

  • Accidental completion: Immediately click the task name again to undo
  • Bulk cleanup: Delete multiple completed tasks one by one when doing a review
  • Visual clarity: Completed tasks use transparency to stay visible but unobtrusive
  • Task counts: The section headers update automatically when you delete tasks
