The Watchlist feature allows you to bookmark and organize your favorite movies and TV series. Mark content you want to watch later or keep track of series you’re actively following.

Adding to Watchlist

You can add both movies and series to your watchlist:

From Movie Details

  1. Navigate to any movie’s detail page
  2. Click the Add to Watchlist button
  3. The movie is instantly added to your watchlist
  4. A watchlist indicator appears on the movie

From Series Details

  1. Open any series detail page
  2. Click the Add to Watchlist button
  3. The series is added to your watchlist
  4. Watchlist status is visible on the series page
Adding a series to your watchlist is required before you can enable automatic episode monitoring.

Viewing Your Watchlist

Access your complete watchlist from the main navigation:
  1. Click Watchlist in the menu
  2. View all your bookmarked content in one place
  3. Use filters to show only movies or only series

Watchlist Display

Each watchlist item shows:
  • Cover Art: Movie poster or series cover image
  • Title: Full name of the content
  • Type: Movie or Series indicator
  • Date Added: When you added it to your watchlist (relative time)
  • Quick Actions: Remove button and link to details page

Filtering Your Watchlist

Use the filter controls to organize your watchlist:
  • All: Shows both movies and series (default)
  • Movies: Displays only movies
  • Series: Displays only TV series
Filters are applied instantly and preserve your selection in the URL.

Navigate through movies or series to find content you want to track

Click the “Add to Watchlist” button on the detail page

Access your watchlist from the main menu to see all bookmarked content

Removing from Watchlist

You can remove content from your watchlist in two ways:

From Watchlist Page

  1. Navigate to your Watchlist
  2. Find the item you want to remove
  3. Click the Remove button
  4. The item is immediately removed from your list

From Content Detail Page

  1. Open the movie or series detail page
  2. Click the Remove from Watchlist button
  3. The content is removed and the button changes back to “Add to Watchlist”
Removing a series from your watchlist while automatic episode monitoring is enabled will prompt you to disable monitoring first, or remove both simultaneously.

Watchlist Indicators

When browsing content, watchlist indicators help you identify bookmarked items:
  • In Watchlist Badge: Visual indicator on content cards
  • Button State: “Add to Watchlist” vs “Remove from Watchlist” on detail pages
  • Quick Reference: See at a glance which content you’re tracking

Watchlist and Auto-Episodes

For TV series, the watchlist serves an important role in automatic episode monitoring:
  • Prerequisite: Series must be in your watchlist before enabling auto-episodes
  • Linked Status: Watchlist and monitoring are connected
  • Removal Options: When disabling monitoring, you can choose to keep or remove from watchlist

Sorting and Organization

Watchlist items are sorted by date added (newest first):
  • Recently added content appears at the top
  • Chronological order helps you track what you’ve recently bookmarked
  • Filter options let you focus on specific content types

Personal Library

Your watchlist is personal and private. Each user has their own watchlist that’s not shared with other users on the system.

Database Structure

Watchlist entries are polymorphic:
  • User ID: Links the watchlist item to your account
  • Watchable Type: Identifies if it’s a movie or series
  • Watchable ID: References the specific content item
  • Created At: Timestamp of when you added it

Content Relationships

The watchlist system uses polymorphic relationships:
  • Movies (VOD Streams) and Series both support watchlist
  • Each content type maintains its own watchlist relationship
  • Deletion of content automatically removes watchlist entries
Use your watchlist to keep track of series you’re actively downloading episodes from, making it easy to return and check for new episodes.

Bulk Management

While individual additions are the primary workflow, you can:
  • Add multiple items one at a time while browsing
  • Remove items individually from your watchlist page
  • Filter to review specific types of content

Watchlist integrates seamlessly with downloads:
  • Quick access to content you want to download
  • Track series you’re actively downloading episodes from
  • Return to watchlist after starting downloads

Search Results

Watchlist status appears in search results:
  • See which search results are already in your watchlist
  • Add new discoveries to your watchlist directly from search
  • Filter your watchlist to find specific content quickly

Use your watchlist as a discovery tool:
  • Bookmark content you hear about for later viewing
  • Build a queue of movies and series to watch
  • Track ongoing series as new episodes are released
