File Operations

Manage files and sessions efficiently.

Starting a new session (⌘N) clears the current organization state, resets the preview, and allows you to start fresh with a new folder. It does not delete any files or history.

Learnings Dashboard Navigation

Once inside The Learnings dashboard:
  • Tab: Navigate between Overview, Preferences, and Activity tabs
  • Space: Expand/collapse activity items
  • ⏎: Open detailed view for selected item
  • ⌘F: Search learning data
Honing sessions (⌥⌘H) help refine your organization preferences through AI-generated questions based on your recent activity.

Custom Keyboard Shortcuts (macOS)

You can create custom keyboard shortcuts for any menu command in macOS System Settings.

Open System Settings

Go to System Settings → Keyboard → Keyboard Shortcuts

Select App Shortcuts

Click App Shortcuts in the sidebar

Add shortcut

Click the + button and select Sorty

Configure

Enter the exact menu command name and assign your preferred shortcut
Custom shortcuts must not conflict with existing system or app shortcuts. macOS will warn you if there’s a conflict.
