Clawd Mochi hosts its own WiFi access point directly from the ESP32. No router, no home network, and no internet connection are needed.

Connect to the web controller

Power via USB-C

Plug a USB-C cable into the ESP32 and connect it to any USB charger or power bank. The display will turn on and show the boot splash.

Wait for the boot animation

After the splash screen, a logo reveal animation plays. This takes about 3 seconds. Once it finishes, the display shows the WiFi connection info.

Open WiFi settings on your device

On your phone or computer, open the WiFi settings.

Join the ClaWD-Mochi network

Connect to the network named ClaWD-Mochi with the password clawd1234.

Open the web controller

Open a browser and go to http://192.168.4.1. The web controller loads immediately.
Any device with a browser works: phone, tablet, laptop. The controller is optimized for mobile screens.
