Once APreds UI is installed, getting predictions running takes only a few key presses. Follow these steps to open the overlay, activate predictions, and dial in your first strength value.
1

Complete installation

If you have not already installed the mod, follow the installation guide first. Make sure APredsUI.dll is in BepInEx\plugins\MO\ before launching.
2

Launch Gorilla Tag

Start Gorilla Tag through Steam. BepInEx loads APreds UI in the background — you do not need to take any action during startup.
3

Open the APreds UI panel

Once you are in-game, press U on your keyboard. The APreds UI overlay window appears on screen. You can press U again at any time to toggle it closed.
4

Enable predictions

Click the Enable Predictions toggle inside the panel. The toggle activates the prediction system — movement prediction is inactive until you turn this on.
5

Set your initial Preds Strength

Move the Preds Strength slider to choose how strongly predictions affect your movement. The valid range is 0.001 to 0.2. Start low and increase gradually as you get comfortable.
6

Test it in-game

Move your arms in-game. You should feel the prediction effect applied to your movement. Adjust Preds Strength up or down until it feels right.
Start with a Preds Strength value around 0.05 before increasing. High values can feel disorienting until you understand how the prediction interacts with your movement style.
The overlay window is draggable — click and drag the title bar to reposition it anywhere on screen so it does not block your view.
