SearchJobs gives companies a complete set of tools to attract and hire candidates. You can post vacancies with rich details and optional video introductions, manage your pipeline from application to decision, communicate with candidates in real time, and monitor the performance of your listings—all from a single dashboard.

What you can do as a company

Post vacancies

Create job listings with full descriptions, salary, modality, required aptitudes, and an optional video intro.

Manage listings

View, edit, pause, and reactivate all your vacancies from the Mis Vacantes page.

Review applicants

See every candidate who applied, their match score, CV, and full profile.

Manage the pipeline

Accept or reject applications. Candidates are notified automatically when you change their status.

Chat with candidates

Open a real-time chat with any candidate whose application is pending or accepted.

Company profile

Maintain a public profile that candidates can visit to learn about your organization.

Registration

1

Go to the registration page

Navigate to the Registro page and select the company registration option.
2

Provide company details

Enter your company name, NIT (your unique company tax identifier), contact email, phone number, and a password. Your NIT must be unique across the platform.
3

Submit and log in

Click Registrarse to create the account, then log in with your email and password.

Posting a vacancy

Navigate to Crear Vacante (the Nueva Oferta page) to publish a new job listing.
1

Enter the job title

Type a clear, descriptive title in the Título del Puesto field. For example: “Desarrollador Frontend”.
2

Set the location and salary

Select the city from the Ciudad dropdown. The department (region) fills automatically. Enter the monthly salary in the Sueldo field.
3

Choose type and modality

Select whether this is a Vacante (full position) or Práctica (internship). Then choose the work modality: Presencial (on-site), Remoto (remote), or Híbrido (hybrid).
4

Specify cargo and experience

Enter the specific job role (cargo) and the minimum years of experience required.
5

Write the description and requirements

Fill in the Descripción del Puesto text area with an overview of the role, and the Requerimientos del Puesto area with a list of specific requirements.
6

Upload a video introduction (optional)

Click Subir video to attach a short MP4 video introducing your vacancy. The video appears in the Shorts feed and on the vacancy detail page.
Videos must be in MP4 format and no larger than 4 MB. Recommended length: under one minute. Use the Eliminar video button to remove an uploaded video before saving.
7

Select required aptitudes

Choose between 2 and 5 aptitudes that candidates should possess. Selected aptitudes are used by the ML model to calculate each applicant’s match score.
You must select at least 2 and no more than 5 aptitudes. The system will show a warning if you try to save with fewer than 2 or more than 5.
8

Save the vacancy

Click Guardar Vacante. On success you will be redirected to your vacancy list (Mis Vacantes).

Managing your vacancies

Navigate to Mis Vacantes to see all vacancies your company has posted. The page uses the same job board component used by candidates, filtered to show only your vacancies. From this page you can:
  • Filter your vacancies by title, status (active, paused by company, disabled by admin), modality, and other criteria.
  • Toggle active/inactive status — pause a vacancy to stop accepting new applications without deleting it.
  • Edit a vacancy — click the edit button on any listing to open the Editar Oferta page where you can modify all fields, update or replace the video, and change required aptitudes.
  • View visit and share counts — each vacancy card shows how many times it has been viewed and shared.

Vacancy status options

StatusMeaning
ActivasVisible to candidates and accepting applications
Pausadas por empresaHidden from candidates; paused by you
Desactivadas por adminDisabled by the platform admin; not visible to candidates
When you deactivate a vacancy, all associated pending applications are also deactivated. Candidates will see their applications as inactive.

Reviewing applicants

For each vacancy, you can open the applicant list by navigating to the Postulados view for that vacancy. The applicant table shows:
  • Candidate name — with a note if the application or vacancy is inactive
  • Afinidad — the ML match percentage between the candidate’s profile and your vacancy
  • Application date
  • Current status
  • Links to view the candidate’s CV and view their full profile

Filtering applicants

Use the filter bar at the top of the applicant table to narrow results:
  • Estado — filter by application status: all, pending (En Espera), accepted, rejected, or cancelled.
  • Fecha mínima — show only applications submitted on or after a given date.
  • Nombre Candidato — search by candidate name.
Click Buscar to apply the filters, or Borrar filtros to reset them.

Managing the application pipeline

From the applicant table for any vacancy, you can accept or reject pending applications.
1

Locate the application

Find the candidate’s row in the applicant table. Actions are available only for applications in Espera (pending) status where both the application and the vacancy are active.
2

Accept or reject

Click Aceptar to move the application to Aceptada status, or Rechazar to move it to Rechazada status. A confirmation dialog will appear before the change is applied.
3

Candidate is notified automatically

When you change an application’s status, the platform sends a real-time in-app notification to the candidate with a message about the decision.
Once you accept or reject an application, the action buttons are no longer shown for that row. Status changes cannot be reversed through the UI.

Chatting with candidates

For candidates whose applications are in Espera or Aceptada status, you can open a direct chat.
1

Find the candidate in the applicant table

Navigate to the applicant list for the relevant vacancy.
2

Click Abrir chat

Click the Abrir chat button in the candidate’s row. This creates a chat room between your company account and the candidate (if one does not already exist) and takes you directly to the conversation.
3

Send messages

Type your message and send. The candidate receives messages in real time through the platform’s WebSocket connection.

Vacancy analytics

SearchJobs gives you two ways to measure interest in your listings:
  • Visit and share counts — visible directly on each vacancy card in Mis Vacantes. The visit counter increments each time a candidate views the vacancy detail page; the share counter increments each time a candidate shares the link.
  • Top vacancies by applications — the platform tracks which of your vacancies have attracted the most applicants. This ranking is available via the API (GET /api/vacantes/popular/listar) and surfaces the vacancies with the highest total application counts so you can identify which roles attract the most interest.

Company profile

Your public company profile is visible to all candidates on the platform. It displays:
  • Company logo
  • Company name and business sector (sector empresarial)
  • NIT
  • Contact email and phone number
  • Website link (if provided)
  • Company description
Candidates can navigate to your profile from vacancy cards, from notifications, and from the Shorts feed. Keep your profile information up to date so candidates have accurate contact details.
