This quickstart guide will help you use the CSAFAP config package immediately after installation.

Prerequisites

Before starting, make sure you’ve completed the installation steps.

Using radio wheels

The CSAFAP config package uses radio wheels to access features. Here’s how they work:

Press the keybind

Press one of the four radio wheel keybinds (default: H, J, K, or M)

Hover over option

Move your mouse over the tile you want to select

Press keybind again

Press and release the same key as before to execute the command
Clicking does nothing - you must press the keybind again

T-side instant smokes and wallbangs

K - Crosshairs & Movement

Pro crosshairs, rapid fire, follow-recoil, snap-tap/null binds

Your first auto line-up

Let’s try an instant smoke on Mirage:

Select your map

  1. Press M to open the map wheel
  2. Hover over Mirage
  3. Press M again to select

Open CT wheel

Press H to open the CT line-ups wheel
Make sure you have a smoke grenade equipped or it will auto-equip

Select a smoke

  1. Hover over “Instant Window” (or any line-up)
  2. Press H again
  3. Your view will snap to the correct angle automatically

Throw the smoke

Press your throw key (default: mouse1) to throw the perfect smoke
You can scroll your mouse wheel while the radio wheel is open to access 2 additional pages of line-ups!

Try practice mode

Practice mode gives you access to 1,000+ line-ups with in-game map guides:

Enable practice mode

  1. Press M for the map wheel
  2. Select “Enable Prac-Mode”
  3. Select your map

Access practice features

  • H key: CT-side spawn teleports
  • J key: Practice commands (sv_cheats commands, god mode, infinite ammo, etc.)
The radio wheels now show practice mode options instead of auto line-ups

Load map guides

In-game annotations will load showing you 1,000+ line-up positions for both CT and T sides
Practice mode requires sv_cheats 1 and works offline or on community servers with cheats enabled

Using movement configs

Try the null binds (Snap-Tap alternative):
  1. Press K to open the crosshair wheel
  2. Select “Null Binds ON”
  3. Your WASD keys now use null cancellation for faster counter-strafing
To disable: Press K again and select “Null Binds OFF”

Common issues and solutions

Common first-time issues

You didn’t complete Step 2 of installation. Copy the csgo folder from csafap/ to your game’s installation path and restart CS2.
This happens in windowed mode at non-native resolution. Either:
  • Switch to fullscreen mode
  • Change desktop resolution to match in-game resolution
  • Move your mouse more to the left on tiles before selecting
You didn’t set your sensitivity in csafap/main.cfg. Open the file and change line 6:
alias resetsens "sensitivity YOUR_SENS_HERE"
You used an outdated jumpthrow bind. Update to the latest CSAFAP version. Quick fix: Type -jump in console multiple times.
