Once the plugin is installed, getting your first report onto FFLogs takes just a few steps: open the plugin, log in, choose an upload mode, configure a few options, and go. This page walks you through the full flow from a fresh install.
1

Open the plugin

Type /fflogsuploader in the chat box, or open the Plugin Installer, find FFLogs Uploader, and click Open. If you are not yet logged in, the login window appears first.
2

Log in to FFLogs

Enter your FFLogs email and password, then click Login. Check Remember me to have the plugin save your credentials and log you in automatically on subsequent loads.
Your password is stored encrypted — DPAPI on Windows and AES-256 on Linux/Wine. It is never stored in plain text.
3

Choose your upload mode

The main window has two tabs. Select the one that matches what you want to do:
The Live Log tab monitors your ACT log directory and uploads each fight to FFLogs as soon as it ends. A report is created automatically when the first fight is detected. The plugin auto-detects the standard ACT log directory:
%APPDATA%\Advanced Combat Tracker\FFXIVLogs
If your ACT logs are stored elsewhere, click Browse to pick the correct folder. You can also check Include the Entire File in the Report to upload fights that were already recorded before you clicked Start Live Logging.
4

Configure guild and region

Under the upload options, choose the guild you want to attach the report to, or leave it set to Personal Logs. If uploading to personal logs, also select your region:
RegionValue
NANorth America
EUEurope
JPJapan
OCOceania
Guild uploads inherit the guild’s region automatically.
5

Set visibility

Choose who can see the report on FFLogs:
  • Public — listed on FFLogs and visible to anyone.
  • Private — only visible to you when logged in.
  • Unlisted — accessible via direct link but not listed publicly.
6

Start the upload

  • Live Log tab: Click Start Live Logging. The button turns into a status indicator showing how many fights have been uploaded. Click Stop Live Logging when your session ends.
  • Upload a Log tab: Optionally add a description, then click Go!. The plugin processes the log file and uploads every fight it contains.
7

View your parses

After the upload is complete, click View Parses to open the in-game parse viewer for that report. The viewer shows per-player DPS, rDPS, aDPS, and parse percentiles for each fight.
In live logging mode, the View Parses button appears while logging is still active, so you can review earlier fights without stopping the session.
