Every report uploaded to FFLogs is tagged with a server region. The region determines how FFLogs categorizes the report and which server-specific rankings it is compared against. Choosing the wrong region means your report will be filed under an incorrect data center and your characters’ parses will not appear in the right ranking pools.Documentation Index

How region is applied
The region setting in the main window sets theserverOrRegion field sent to the FFLogs API when a report is created. The parser also uses a two-letter region code (NA, EU, JP, OC) internally when processing log lines.
When uploading to a guild, the report is still created with the region you have selected in the plugin. The guild’s own region on fflogs.com does not override this value. Make sure your selected region matches your guild’s home data center to avoid mismatched rankings.
