Purpose
Use the Testimonials page to share genuine feedback from clients, collaborators, managers, or colleagues. A well-curated set of testimonials answers one of the most important questions a potential client or employer has: what is it actually like to work with this person?What to Add
Opentestimonials.html and replace the placeholder quotes with real testimonials. For each entry, include:
- Quote — the testimonial text itself; use the person’s actual words, not a paraphrase
- Name — the full name of the person giving the testimonial
- Role or title — their job title or discipline at the time of the work
- Company or organization (optional) — where they worked; include this if it adds recognizable credibility
- Context (optional) — a brief note on your relationship, for example “We worked together on the redesign of [Project Name] in 2024”
Tips for a Strong Testimonials Page
- Ask for testimonials proactively — most happy collaborators are willing to write one if you ask clearly and make it easy for them
- Aim for variety — testimonials from a client, a technical peer, and a manager tell a more complete story than three quotes from the same type of person
- Keep quotes focused — shorter, specific testimonials are more credible than long, general ones
- Update the page as you collect new feedback; an active testimonials page signals that you are still working and still impressing people
