Powered by Alfred, it reads your .bib file directly and lets you search, insert, and manage BibTeX references without switching apps — supporting Pandoc, LaTeX, Multi-Markdown, org-mode, iA Writer, and more.

Download the workflow

Grab the latest .alfredworkflow release from GitHub and double-click to install.

Set your library path

Open Alfred Preferences → Workflows → Supercharged Citation Picker → Configure Workflow and enter the path to your .bib file.

Choose a citation format

Type scp in Alfred, select Change citation format, and pick your preferred style (default: Pandoc).

Start citing

Press your hotkey or type ct in Alfred from any text field, search for a reference, and press to insert it.
