Overview

The CompuTécnicos order management system provides complete visibility into your purchase history. Track orders in real-time, view detailed status updates with timestamps, and download invoices for completed purchases.
You must be logged in to view your orders. The system only displays orders associated with your account.

Accessing Your Orders

Navigate to your orders page:
  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click on your profile menu
  3. Select “Mis Pedidos” (My Orders)
  4. View all orders sorted by most recent first

Order States

Orders progress through distinct states:

Pendiente

Order created, awaiting payment

Pagado

Payment confirmed via PayPal

En Preparación

Order being prepared for shipment

En Camino

Order shipped and in transit

Entregado

Successfully delivered to customer

Cancelado

Order cancelled by user or admin

Order Display

Order Card Layout

Each order is displayed in a detailed card showing: Header Section:
  • Order ID (e.g., Pedido #123)
  • Order date and time
  • Current status badge with color coding
  • Total amount in COP
Body Section:
  • Product list with images and quantities
  • Invoice download button (for paid orders)
  • Order tracking progress bar
  • Status history timeline
  • Tracking number (when shipped)

Order Tracking

Visual Progress Bar

The tracking system includes a visual progress indicator:
Progress Percentage:
  • Calculated based on current order stage
  • Displayed as a percentage (0-100%)
  • Visual bar fills from left to right
Stage Indicators:
  • 5 circular step markers
  • Completed steps: filled with checkmark
  • Current step: highlighted and animated
  • Future steps: grayed out
Timestamps:
  • Each completed step shows date and time
  • Future steps show ”—” placeholder

Tracking Stages

Orders progress through these stages:
  1. Pedido recibido (Order Received)
    • Initial order creation
    • Timestamp: when order was placed
  2. Pagado (Paid)
    • Payment confirmation
    • Timestamp: when PayPal payment completed
  3. En preparación (In Preparation)
    • Order being packed
    • Timestamp: when admin marks as preparing
  4. En camino (In Transit)
    • Shipped to customer
    • Timestamp: when marked as shipped
  5. Entregado (Delivered)
    • Successfully delivered
    • Timestamp: when marked as delivered
Click on the tracking progress bar or “Ver historial” button to expand detailed status history.

Delivery Estimates

The system provides estimated delivery dates:

Calculation Method

Based on Current Status:
  • Pendiente: +3 days from now
  • Pagado: +2 days from now
  • Preparación: +36 hours from now
  • Enviado: +1 day from now
  • Entregado: Shows ”✓ Entregado”
Geographic Considerations:
  • Bogotá: 1-2 days
  • Other cities: 3-5 days
  • Displayed as: “Est. entrega DD/MM HH:mm”
Delivery estimates are calculated from the current time and are subject to carrier performance and location.

Status History

View complete order timeline:

History Display

  1. Click “Ver historial” button on any order
  2. Detailed timeline expands below tracking bar
  3. Each event shows:
    • Status name (e.g., “Pagado”)
    • Date and time of status change
    • Optional comment from admin (if any)

History Entry Format

Pagado — 15/03/2024 14:30 (Pago confirmado vía PayPal)
En preparación — 16/03/2024 09:15 (Pedido en proceso)
Admin comments in the history provide additional context about order processing, such as special handling notes or delay explanations.

Each order shows complete product information:

Displayed in a structured table:

Small thumbnail images (60×40px) help identify products visually in the order list.

Invoice Management

Downloading Invoices

For paid and completed orders:
  1. Locate the “Descargar factura” button
  2. Button appears for orders in states:
    • Pagado
    • Preparación
    • Enviado
    • Entregado
  3. Click to download PDF invoice
  4. Opens in new tab or downloads directly
Invoices are only available after payment confirmation. Pending orders cannot generate invoices.

Invoice Features

Generated invoices include:
  • Company information and logo
  • Customer details
  • Order ID and date
  • Itemized product list
  • Subtotals, taxes, and total
  • Payment method
  • Electronic signature (for Colombian compliance)
Keep your invoices for warranty claims and accounting purposes. You can download them multiple times.

Tracking Number

When orders are shipped:

Tracking Box Display

A special tracking section appears showing:
  • “Número de guía” label
  • Tracking code in monospace font
  • Copy button for easy copying

Using Tracking Numbers

  1. Wait for order status to change to “Enviado”
  2. Tracking number appears in order details
  3. Click “Copiar” button to copy to clipboard
  4. Use on carrier’s website to track shipment
  5. Button shows ”✓ Copiado” confirmation
The carrier used for shipping depends on:
  • Delivery location (urban vs rural)
  • Package size and weight
  • Service level selected
Common carriers:
  • Servientrega
  • Coordinadora
  • Envía
  • Interrapidísimo

Order States in Detail

Pendiente (Pending)

What it means:
  • Order created but not yet paid
  • Awaiting PayPal payment confirmation
Customer action:
  • Complete payment via PayPal
  • Payment page available in checkout
Duration:
  • Order automatically cancelled if not paid within 24 hours

Pagado (Paid)

What it means:
  • Payment successfully processed
  • Order confirmed and ready for preparation
What happens next:
  • Inventory updated
  • Order queued for fulfillment
  • Invoice generated
Duration:
  • Typically moves to “Preparación” within 4-8 hours

En Preparación (In Preparation)

What it means:
  • Items being picked and packed
  • Quality checks performed
  • Shipping label created
Duration:
  • Usually 4-12 hours
  • May be longer for large orders

En Camino (Shipped)

What it means:
  • Package handed to carrier
  • Tracking number active
  • In transit to delivery address
What happens:
  • Receive tracking number
  • Can track on carrier website
  • Expected delivery within 1-5 days

Entregado (Delivered)

What it means:
  • Package successfully delivered
  • Signed for by recipient
  • Order complete
After delivery:
  • Can still download invoice
  • Warranty period begins
  • Can leave product review

Cancelado (Cancelled)

What it means:
  • Order cancelled before fulfillment
  • No charge if cancelled before payment
  • Refund issued if already paid
Reasons:
  • Customer request
  • Payment failure
  • Stock unavailable
  • Admin cancellation

Empty Orders Page

If you have no orders yet:
  • Empty state message displayed
  • Icon illustration for visual feedback
  • “Explorar productos” button
  • Encouragement message to make first purchase

Mobile Experience

Order tracking is fully responsive:

  • Touch-optimized buttons and controls
  • Responsive tables with horizontal scroll
  • Mobile-friendly tracking visualization
On mobile, tracking steps are displayed vertically for easier viewing on small screens.

Real-Time Updates

Order status updates in real-time:
  • Automatic refresh when page is reloaded
  • Instant updates when admin changes status
  • Email notifications sent for major status changes
  • Push notifications (if enabled)
