Noxie is a character-driven, mood-based Discord companion bot built on discord.py 2.3+ with full Discord Components V2 (CV2) support. It brings a living personality to your server — hunt vibe creatures, grow your collection, earn dual currencies, and watch Noxie shift between deadpan sarcasm, cozy warmth, and pure chaos depending on what’s happening in the moment.Documentation Index

Features
🦊 Vibe Creatures
36 unique collectible creatures spread across six rarities — Common through Mythic — each with its own mood, vibe, and hunt weight. From the humble Gloomfox to the elusive Voidmatriarch, every hunt is a roll of the vibe dice.
⚡ Economy
A dual-currency economy built on Glow Shards ✨ and Vibe Coins 🪙. Both currencies are earned on every hunt, with rarity multipliers pushing rewards higher for rare finds. Donations also convert to currency at fixed USD rates.
👁️ Personality Engine
Noxie’s response tone shifts dynamically based on context: Deadpan by default, Cozy on high-luck rolls, Chaotic during long streaks and rare finds, and Sarcastic when luck runs dry. Backed by a line bank with mood banners to match.
💎 Donations
An OxaPay-powered crypto donation flow running entirely in DMs with CV2 layouts. Supports USDT, BTC, ETH, LTC, BNB, DOGE, and TRX. Donors receive Glow Shards, Vibe Coins, and a permanent Donor Badge.
🔑 Custom Prefixes
Server admins can register per-guild custom prefixes on top of the permanent global
noxie prefix. The global prefix is always active and cannot be removed, ensuring the bot is always reachable regardless of guild settings.🎴 CV2 Layouts
All rich displays — hunt results, profiles, inventory, donation flows — are rendered using Discord Components V2 containers. Mood banners (14 face assets) are embedded at the bottom of every container, matching the current event or personality tone.
How It Works
Noxie’s core loop is built around three interconnected systems: hunting, economy, and personality. When a user runs/hunt (or noxie hunt), Noxie rolls a weighted random creature from the vibe creature pool. The rarity of that creature — Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, or Mythic — determines the Glow Shard and Vibe Coin reward range applied to their economy balance. Each hunt also increments a streak counter per user per guild.
The Personality Engine reads the result of that hunt — the creature rarity, the user’s current streak, and luck signals — and selects a matching tone (Deadpan, Cozy, Chaotic, or Sarcastic). It then picks a response line from the corresponding bank and maps the event to one of Noxie’s 14 mood banner face assets. The final CV2 container is assembled with the creature display, the personality line, the economy delta, and the mood banner stitched together at the bottom.
Longer streaks push Noxie into Chaotic territory. Rare pulls shift the tone toward Cozy or excited. Poor luck triggers Sarcastic responses. The result is a bot that always has something to say — and always means it.
Requirements
Before running Noxie, make sure your environment meets the following:| Requirement | Version |
|---|---|
| Python | 3.10 or higher |
| discord.py | 2.3.0 or higher |
| aiohttp | 3.9.0 or higher |
| SQLite | Auto-created on first run — no setup needed |
Noxie relies on Discord Components V2, which requires discord.py 2.3+. Earlier versions of the library do not support CV2 message layouts. Do not downgrade the dependency — all rich hunt result displays, donation flows, and profile cards depend on CV2 container builders.
