What makes Chuchu different

Chuchu uses libghostty for terminal emulation — the same VT engine used by the Ghostty desktop terminal — giving you first-class terminal rendering on Android. Combined with native SSH via libssh2 and support for three transport protocols, it covers every SSH workflow from a simple password login to Tailscale mesh networks.

Tailscale SSH

Connect to machines on your Tailscale network without opening firewall ports.

Mosh Support

Stay connected on unstable networks with Mosh’s UDP-based transport.

SSH Keys

Generate Ed25519 and RSA keys on-device and manage all your SSH identities.

SFTP File Browser

Browse and upload files on remote servers without leaving the app.

400+ Themes

Choose from over 400 themes sourced from the official Ghostty theme repository.

Security

Biometric app lock, per-connection auth, and host key fingerprint verification.
