Use the Inflation Calculator

The Inflation Calculator shows you how the purchasing power of an amount of pesos has changed over time.
  1. Enter an initial amount in Argentine pesos (ARS) in the “Monto Inicial” field.
  2. Select the start month and year — the period from which you want to measure inflation.
  3. The end month and year default to the latest available data. Adjust if needed.
  4. Results update automatically:
    • Monto Final — the inflation-adjusted equivalent amount
    • Total — total inflation percentage over the period
    • Promedio — average monthly inflation rate
    • Anual — annualized inflation rate
Data comes from INDEC (Argentina’s official statistics bureau) via ArgentinaDatos. Coverage begins in January 2017.
