Roles at the Event
Guest Speakers
Industry professionals delivering express technical sessions on AI, cloud, DevOps, and security during the Friday morning workshop block. Sessions are short, dense, and immediately actionable.
Technical Mentors
Experts available throughout the full 36-hour hacking period (Fri 12 PM – Sat 11:59 PM). Scheduled mentoring rounds run every 6 hours, covering both technical direction and business strategy.
Competition Judges
An independent panel that scores all final project presentations on Demo Day. Judges evaluate submissions across the event’s defined judging criteria. See the evaluation criteria page for the full scoring rubric.
Confirmed Specialties
The event is recruiting professionals from the following four specialty areas, ensuring judges and mentors cover the full technical breadth of the competition tracks:- Software Development & Architecture — system design, scalable backends, API-first development, and engineering best practices
- Artificial Intelligence & Data — applied ML, LLM integrations, data pipelines, and responsible AI deployment
- Cloud, DevOps & Infrastructure — rapid cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code
- Cybersecurity & Robust Systems — secure software design, threat modeling, authentication patterns, and resilient architectures
