Odoo’s Sales suite unifies CRM, quoting, order management, point of sale, subscriptions, and rentals in one platform, giving every team—from inside sales to front-of-house—a single source of truth for revenue activity. Whether you are qualifying a cold lead, negotiating a renewal, or ringing up an in-store purchase, the same connected workflow drives each interaction through to invoicing.

CRM Pipeline

The CRM pipeline is a visual Kanban board where every opportunity moves through configurable stages—from initial qualification to deal closed. Each opportunity card shows its expected revenue, closing probability, and next scheduled activity so sales reps always know what to do next.

Organize the Pipeline

Create and rename stages, set probability percentages, and assign stage-specific email templates that fire automatically when a card advances.

Sales Teams

Group salespeople into teams with individual invoicing targets, assignment rules, and a dedicated email alias that auto-creates leads.

Lead Scoring & Distribution

Score leads by demographic and behavioral criteria, then let Odoo distribute them to the right rep based on assignment rules.

Performance Reports

Track win/loss ratios, expected revenue forecasts, and cohort-level pipeline health from the CRM Reporting menu.

Acquiring and Converting Leads

Capture leads

Leads enter the pipeline through website forms, inbound emails to a team alias, manual entry, or the built-in Lead Mining tool that generates prospects from company databases.

Qualify and convert

Review lead details, enrich the contact with Partner Autocomplete, then click Convert to Opportunity to merge the lead into an opportunity and assign it to a salesperson.

Schedule activities

Log calls, meetings, and to-dos directly on the opportunity. Activities appear in the salesperson’s unified activity view across all apps.

Send a quotation

Click New Quotation on the opportunity to generate a draft sales order pre-filled with the customer’s details. The Quotations smart button on the opportunity keeps a running count of all linked quotes.
Enable Lead Enrichment in CRM settings to automatically populate company information—industry, employee count, phone, and social profiles—when a lead email domain is recognized.

Quotations & Sales Orders

A quotation is a proposal sent to a customer that outlines products, pricing, and terms. When the customer accepts it—either by clicking Confirm or by applying an online signature—Odoo converts it into a confirmed sales order.

Create the quotation

Go to Sales → Orders → Quotations and click New. Select the customer, choose a Quotation Template if one exists, and add product lines. Set an expiration date to create urgency.

Add optional products

Use the Optional Products tab to suggest complementary items. Optional products appear on the customer portal and can be added by the customer before confirming.

Send and confirm

Click Send by Email to deliver the quotation. Once the customer confirms, the quotation becomes a sales order and a delivery order is automatically created if the product requires shipping.

Invoice and collect payment

From the confirmed sales order, click Create Invoice. Choose to invoice based on ordered quantities or delivered quantities depending on your billing policy.
Online signatures let customers confirm orders without back-and-forth emails. Enable Online Signature in Sales → Configuration → Settings to add a signature field to the customer portal view of every quotation.

Products & Pricelists

Product Catalog

Configure storable, consumable, and service products with variants (size, color), units of measure, and sales descriptions. Attach documents and images that appear on quotations.

Pricelists

Create multiple pricelists for different customer segments—wholesale, retail, VIP—with fixed prices, percentage discounts, or formula-based rules. Pricelists auto-apply based on the customer or sales order.

eWallets & Gift Cards

Issue gift cards and store credit that customers can redeem at checkout, both in the Sales app and on your eCommerce store.

Loyalty & Discount Programs

Configure points-based loyalty programs, coupon codes, and promotional discounts that activate automatically when order conditions are met.

Point of Sale

Odoo Point of Sale runs entirely in the browser, works on any device, and stays functional during network outages by caching transactions locally until connectivity is restored.
Manage retail transactions, apply pricelists, handle ship-later orders for items not in stock on-site, and scan barcodes to add products instantly.

Payment Methods

Accept cash, credit cards, split payments, and customer account charges. Integrate with payment terminals and configure cash-rounding rules.

POS Reporting

Review session summaries, Z-reports, and product sales breakdowns. Compare daily sales across multiple POS locations from a single dashboard.

Subscriptions

The Subscriptions app manages recurring revenue through subscription-based products or services. It supports automated invoicing, renewal management, and customer lifecycle tracking.

Configure recurring plans

Go to Subscriptions → Configuration → Recurring Plans to define billing frequencies such as Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly.

Create a subscription product

On any product form, set the product type and attach one or more recurring plans. Subscriptions can be sold through the Sales app or directly through your eCommerce store.

Manage the lifecycle

From the subscription record, renew, upsell additional services, or close the subscription when a customer cancels. All subscription activity integrates with CRM and Helpdesk for unified account management.

Rental

The Rental app lets you send quotations, confirm orders, schedule pickup and return dates, and invoice customers—all from one place.

Rental Pricing

Define time-based pricing tiers on each product: daily, weekly, and monthly rates. Odoo automatically picks the most cost-effective combination for the rental duration.

Deposits

Attach a refundable deposit to any rental order. The deposit is captured at confirmation and released back to the customer upon product return.

Pickup & Return

Register when a product is picked up and returned directly on the rental order. Odoo tracks availability and prevents double-booking.

Rental Dashboard

The Kanban dashboard shows every active rental with its status, customer name, and rental price. Use sidebar filters to view rentals by status or invoice state.

Commissions

The Commissions feature rewards salespeople and sales teams based on measurable performance targets. Configure flexible commission plans that align with your business goals—whether based on revenue, order volume, profit margin, or recurring contract value.

Commission Plans

Create commission plans specifying whether commissions are awarded based on progress toward targets or on actual achievements, and whether they apply to individual salespeople or entire teams.

Commission Reports

Track commission accruals and payouts per salesperson and per plan from the Commissions reporting menu. Drill down by period, team, or product to review performance against plan thresholds.

Marketplace Connectors

Odoo Sales integrates with third-party marketplaces so that orders placed outside your website flow automatically into the same sales and inventory workflows.

Amazon Connector

Synchronize Amazon orders with Odoo automatically. Sales orders, product listings, and customer records are created in Odoo when Amazon orders are confirmed, and fulfillment status is updated back to Amazon upon delivery.

Shopee & Lazada Connectors

Connect Shopee and Lazada storefronts to Odoo for markets in Southeast Asia. Orders from both platforms are imported into the Odoo sales pipeline and handled with the same warehouse and invoicing workflows as direct orders.

Gelato Integration

Integrate with Gelato’s print-on-demand network to fulfil custom-printed products—books, apparel, wall art—without holding inventory. Odoo passes order details to Gelato automatically on confirmation.

Customer Portal

Customers can view their quotations, confirm orders, make payments, track deliveries, and download invoices through the self-service Customer Portal—no login credentials to manage separately. Portal access is granted automatically when a customer is sent a document by email.
