Download WannaCut

Visit wannacut.app to grab the latest installer for Linux (.deb, AppImage) or Windows (.exe).

Set Your Workspace

On first launch, WannaCut asks you to choose a workspace folder — this is where all your projects and assets will be stored.

Create a Project & Edit

Click New Project, set your resolution and FPS, import your media, and start cutting on the timeline.
WannaCut is currently in Beta. The core editing experience is stable and production-ready, but some advanced features (masks, advanced transitions) are still on the roadmap. See the Roadmap for upcoming additions.
