There is no CITATION.cff, no numbered release, no DOI, and no verified author metadata for this repository. Bibliographic identity is an open owner decision (OWNER-CITATION-IDENTITY), and the license is likewise an open owner decision (OWNER-LICENSE). Inventing citation metadata before those decisions are made would be fabrication. Until they are resolved, cite by commit hash following the guidance in docs/CITING.md.
No stable release, DOI, or citation metadata exists. Default copyright applies (no open license has been chosen). Do not create a CITATION.cff or present this work as having a citable identity until the OWNER-CITATION-IDENTITY and OWNER-LICENSE decisions are resolved.

Getting the commit hash

Retrieve the current commit hash with: 
git rev-parse HEAD
Alternatively, the commit hash is visible in the GitHub UI on the repository’s main page under the commit history.

Verifying the exact tree you cite

The SHA-256 release manifest at docs/provenance/RELEASE-MANIFEST.sha256 lets you verify the exact tree corresponding to the commit you cite. This manifest covers the tracked source files and is checked in CI against docs/current-state.yaml.

Artifact PDFs

Draft PDFs are available in the artifacts/ directory. They are:
  • DRAFT-stamped — every PDF carries a DRAFT watermark
  • Commit-pinned — each PDF records the source commit at build time
  • Accompanied by source-hash sidecars — SHA-256 hashes in artifacts/ allow byte-level verification

These PDFs are reproducibly built draft artifacts. There is no numbered release, no DOI, and no archival claim. Citing a PDF without the commit hash is insufficient to identify the precise version of the work.

Open decisions blocking a proper citation

Two owner-only decisions must be resolved before a conventional citation is possible:
The real-world author name, affiliation, ORCID, and preferred bibliographic identity are open decisions. Only after this decision can a CITATION.cff be created or a numbered release exist honestly. Cite-by-commit is the only honest interim method.

Current version

The current revision is R6 (2026-07-20) — experiment-readiness, sourcing-state, and reference-apparatus tie-off. This is not a numbered stable release; no release tag, DOI, or archival claim exists. Revision facts are generated into docs/current-state.yaml and drift-checked in CI.
