Content creators are the heart of ECHO. Whether you are an illustrator, photographer, musician, graphic designer, architect, fashion designer, 3D artist, comic artist, or video editor, ECHO gives you a public profile, a portfolio, and a storefront — all in one place. You publish your work, set your services, receive orders from buyers and venue managers, and build a following in the cultural sector.

Who this role is for

The Content Creator role is designed for:
  • Visual artists and illustrators
  • Photographers and videographers
  • Graphic designers and 3D artists
  • Musicians and audio producers
  • Architects and fashion designers
  • Comic artists and animators
  • Any creative professional offering artistic services or products
When you register on ECHO, your base role is USER. The CREATOR role is assigned when you set up your creator profile, unlocking portfolio publishing, service listings, and event applications.

What you can do

Build your public profile

Your creator profile is your public identity on ECHO. Set up the following fields to make it complete:
  • Public name and bio — describe your practice and background
  • Location — help local buyers and venues find you
  • Social links — LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Experience — highlight your background and credentials
  • Calendar URL — let buyers schedule time with you
  • Avatar and banner image — make your profile visually compelling

Publish portfolio projects

Portfolio projects let you present finished work in depth. Each project lives on its own URL (via a slug) and supports a rich block editor for structured content. Projects have:
  • Blocks — a flexible JSON content structure for text, images, and embeds
  • Background — a visual header for the project page
  • Published status — draft privately, then publish when ready
  • Engagement — buyers can like, view, and comment on your projects
Unpublished projects are only visible to you. Set published: true when a project is ready to appear on your public profile.

Offer services

Services are your primary way to receive paid orders on ECHO. Each service listing includes:
  • Name and description — explain what you deliver and how
  • Delivery duration — specify the number of days a buyer can expect to wait
  • Category — place your service in the right discovery context
  • Cover image — a visual thumbnail shown in search results
Available categories for service listings:

FotografíaPhotography and photo editing

Receive and manage orders

When a buyer places an order on one of your services or products, you receive a notification and the order enters PENDING status. From there you can:
  • Exchange messages with the buyer directly within the order thread
  • Track the order through to completion
  • Receive a review (score 1–5 with a comment) once the work is delivered
If a dispute is raised on an order, you can respond with messages in the dispute thread. ECHO staff may review the dispute and issue a resolution.

Apply to venue events

Venue managers on ECHO create events at physical cultural spaces and look for creative talent to participate. As a content creator, you can browse events and apply to perform or exhibit your work at galleries, cultural centers, and other venues.

How the follow system works

Buyers and other users can follow your creator profile. Your follower count and following count are public. A growing follower base increases your visibility in the marketplace and signals credibility to potential buyers.
Keep your portfolio and service listings updated regularly. Active profiles with recent work attract more followers and orders.
