/dashboard after login. It consolidates the most critical operational metrics into a single view — live revenue, table occupancy, stock warnings, and fulfillment speed — so managers can make informed decisions at a glance without navigating to other modules.
The Dashboard is restricted to Admin and Manager roles. Waitstaff and Kitchen staff are redirected to their respective home screens upon login.
KPI Cards
Four stat cards appear at the top of the Dashboard, each updating in real time from the point-of-sale feed.Total Sales Today
Displays the cumulative daily revenue in the configured currency (e.g. $4,285.50). A green +12% trending indicator compares the current figure against the same period yesterday.
Active Tables
Shows occupied tables vs. total capacity (e.g. 24 / 28). A blue 85% LOAD badge gives an instant occupancy-rate snapshot without manual arithmetic.
Inventory Alerts
Highlights the count of ingredients currently below their reorder threshold (e.g. 07 Items Low). A red left border and View All link let managers jump straight to the Inventory module.
Avg. Fulfillment
Reports the average order fulfillment time in minutes (e.g. 18 mins). A purple Fast indicator confirms kitchen throughput is within the target window.
Peak Hour Volume Chart
The chart panel occupies the left two-thirds of the second row and visualises hourly order traffic across all dining sections.- X-axis time labels run from 12:00 through 14:00, 16:00, 18:00, 20:00, 22:00, to 00:00.
- Each bar represents relative order volume for that hour. The tallest bar is highlighted in the primary brand colour and labelled Peak.
- A time range selector (top-right of the panel) lets managers switch between Last 24 Hours and Last 7 Days to spot daily patterns vs. weekly trends.
The peak bar label appears as a floating tooltip above the highlighted column. Hovering any other bar shows a faint primary tint, making it easy to compare relative heights.
Top Performers
The right-side panel ranks front-of-house staff by revenue generated during the selected period. Each leaderboard entry contains:| Field | Example |
