This guide walks you through everything you need to get Arc Support up and running on your Discord server. Arc Support is a managed Discord ticket bot — the Arcynex Development team will work with you directly to provision and configure it for your server.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have the following in place:
  • A Discord server where you hold Administrator permissions.
  • Access to the Arcynex Discord server for support and onboarding assistance.
  • Arc Support bot access obtained from Arcynex Development — see the first step below for how to request this.

Adding Arc Support to Your Server

1

Contact Arcynex Development

Arc Support is provisioned on a per-server basis. Reach out to Arcynex Development to request access:Provide your server name and a brief description of your use case. The Arcynex team will generate a bot invitation link for your server.
2

Accept the Bot Invitation Link

Click the invitation link provided by Arcynex Development. You’ll be prompted to select the target Discord server — choose the correct server and confirm the permissions required for the bot to operate.
3

Complete Your Server Configuration

Once Arc Support is in your server, the Arcynex team will guide you through configuring the ticket workflow — including where tickets are created, which roles your staff will use, and how the bot fits into your server’s existing channel structure.

Your First Ticket

With setup complete, the general Arc Support workflow looks like this:
  1. A user opens a ticket by interacting with Arc Support in your server. The bot creates a private space for their request, visible only to that user and your designated staff.
  2. Staff respond inside the private ticket space. Team members can work through the issue in a focused, organized environment.
  3. The ticket is closed by a staff member (or the user) once the issue is resolved. Arc Support clears it from the active queue.
Not sure how to structure your server for Arc Support? The Arcynex Development team is happy to advise on setup best practices during your onboarding.
