The Statuses mod gives you five status types you can set yourself, plus two additional statuses that the system assigns automatically. This page covers what each status means, how it appears to other players, and when you might want to use it.

Settable statuses

These are the statuses you can choose from the status picker in-game.
Online signals that you are actively in the game. This is the default active state and is shown to anyone who views your profile, comments, or appears in a leaderboard.Use Online when you are playing and open to interaction.
Idle indicates that you are connected but not actively engaged. The mod can also set this automatically when it detects you have been inactive for a period of time.See Changing your status for details on the automatic idle feature.
Do Not Disturb tells other players that you do not want to be talked to. Your status icon changes to reflect DND mode, and other players can see this signal on your profile, comments, and leaderboard entries.Choose Do Not Disturb when you want to focus on a level or are otherwise unavailable.
Invisible makes you appear offline to every other player. You remain connected to the Statuses server and your session continues normally, but no one else sees you as active. This is the right choice when you want to play without your presence being visible to others.
Custom lets you enter your own status text, up to the character limit displayed in the input field. You can also set an optional expiration time so the custom status clears automatically after a chosen duration.See Changing your status for a full walkthrough of the custom status flow.

System-assigned statuses

These statuses are set by the Statuses server and cannot be chosen manually.
StatusWhen it appears
OfflineShown on your profile when you have not connected to the Statuses server — for example, if you are not authenticated or the mod cannot reach the server.
BannedAssigned by the server when an account has been banned. The banned status replaces all other statuses on that account’s profile, comments, and leaderboard cells.
The Banned status is assigned exclusively by the Statuses server. There is no way to set it yourself, and it cannot be cleared from the in-game status picker.
Status updates are broadcast over a live WebSocket connection, so any change you make propagates in real time. Anyone currently viewing your profile or a leaderboard you appear on sees your new status immediately without needing to reload.
