User profiles give you a public page on discord.place that showcases who you are in the Discord community. You can share a short bio, link your social accounts, display your servers and bots, and choose a custom vanity URL to make your profile easy to share.

Creating your profile

You can only have one profile per Discord account.
1

Sign in to discord.place with your Discord account via OAuth2.
2

Open profile creation

Click your avatar in the top-right corner and select Create Profile, or navigate to discord.place/profile.
3

Choose a slug

Pick a vanity slug for your profile URL. The slug must be between 3 and 32 characters and follow Discord-style naming rules. Your profile will be accessible at discord.place/p/your-slug.
Slugs are unique — check availability before submitting. You cannot change your slug after creation.
4

Choose a preferred host

Select where your profile URL is hosted. By default this is discord.place/p. Premium users can select a custom hostname instead.
5

Submit

Click Create. Your profile is created immediately and becomes publicly accessible.

Editing your profile

After creation, open your profile’s manage page to fill in additional details:

Each social entry requires a link and, where applicable, a handle.

Custom hostnames

Premium users can connect a custom hostname to their profile instead of using discord.place/p. Custom hostnames are configured by the platform operator and selected during profile creation.
Custom hostname support requires a premium subscription. See Premium for details.

Sharing your profile

Your public profile URL is discord.place/p/your-slug (or your custom hostname if configured). Share this link anywhere to let others view your bio, social accounts, and the bots and servers you have listed on discord.place. Profile pages display:
  • Your Discord avatar and banner
  • Bio, occupation, location, and social links
  • Badges earned on discord.place
  • Total profile views and likes
  • Bots and servers you have listed

Premium

Unlock custom hostnames and other profile enhancements with a premium subscription.

Discord Bots

List a bot to have it appear on your profile page.
